Christine Hilditch, MA,
LMHC is the Clinical Director for Shrewsbury Youth and Family Services,
Inc. She is a licensed mental health counselor and therapist. Chris received
her Bachelor’s of Arts degree from the University of Maine, where she majored
in Psychology. She later received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology
from Assumption College, with a concentration in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.
Chris has worked in a variety of settings, including crisis intervention helplines, Department of Psychology research departments, child development / preschool centers, social service agencies, special education schools, and residential programs for troubled youth.
Utilizing a strengths-based approach to her clinical work, Chris has successfully worked with clients experiencing a wide range of difficulties. Her particular area of expertise includes working with adolescents with emotional difficulties, individuals with anxiety or mood disorders, families experiencing communication problems, and individuals diagnosed with depression.
Chris is capable of providing a wide array of services, including individual counseling, family therapy, group therapy, and milieu-based psycho-educational work.
